How it works
Panels on your roof generate DC electricity during the day. The inverter converts it to the AC your home uses. When you generate more than you consume, the surplus flows to the grid and a bidirectional meter records it. At the end of the month, what you imported and what you exported are netted off; you are billed only for the difference.
Because the grid connection is kept, there is no interruption at night or on cloudy days. The goal is not to leave the grid — it is to cover most of your annual consumption with your own generation.
Why it makes sense in Bodrum
- Annual sunshine hours are above the Turkish average, so the same number of panels generates more.
- In holiday homes, summer generation coincides with air-conditioning load; in permanent homes it saves all year round.
- We use dedicated mounting systems for tile, terrace and metal roofs; on tile roofs we install hooks without breaking tiles.
System components
- Panels: CW Enerji / TommaTech 450–640 Wp N-type TOPCon (bifacial and all-black options)
- Inverter: TommaTech single- or three-phase grid-tied, with cloud monitoring app
- Smart meter & protection: Smart meter, DC/AC protection board, earthing
- Mounting: Aluminium rails and roof-specific fixings
Process and permits
For residential systems we handle the utility application, project approval and acceptance. Typical timeline: application 3–6 weeks, installation 1–3 days, meter exchange after acceptance.
How much will you save?
That depends on your consumption, roof orientation and current tariffs. After the survey, the quote states the estimated annual generation (kWh), the effect on your bill and the payback period in writing. We don’t make verbal promises you won’t find in the quote.
